CLIENT: MARVEL AND HULU STUDIOS
Design board created for the upcoming Marvel series “Helstrom”, premiering on Hulu in 2020.
During the conception of this project, my thoughts immediately traveled to the sordid world of cults in the 1980’s. Cults present a seductive and powerful danger, and for this sequence I wanted to build a small window into the world of the cult from which this story’s main characters descended. It’s glittery, disorienting, and bloody allure wrapped around the tragic story of young children losing the only people that mattered to them with no answers as to why.
